Fair Use and Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Scope and responsibility

This policy applies to every ChunkArc account, server, custom address, file, plugin, mod, process, connection, referral, Arc Credit transaction and support interaction. You are responsible for activity performed by you and by any co-host or person to whom you grant access.

2. Intended use

Normal use includes:

• playing Minecraft with friends or a small community;
• running software and versions supported by ChunkArc;
• using compatible plugins or mods from official or reputable sources;
• managing worlds, permissions, whitelists and ordinary gameplay;
• using the panel file manager for downloads and ordinary text configuration edits, the custom address and supported server controls;
• downloading your own world and configuration for safekeeping;
• using legitimate cross-play or voice features when compatible with the plan and available ports.

3. Free Beta resources

The standard Free Beta currently includes:

A Free server may stop after 30 continuous minutes with no players online. A real player returning resets the idle timer, and a failed player check should not stop the server. Automated server-list pings are not players.

On managed Free Beta servers, direct uploads, URL imports, archive extraction, executable or JAR writes, and SFTP may be disabled to protect the shared infrastructure. Compatible approved projects can be installed from the Minecraft Plugins catalog in the panel. If a legitimate project is missing, contact support with its official Modrinth link for review.

Fake players, AFK bots, reconnect loops, scripts or artificial traffic whose main purpose is to defeat autostop, renewal, capacity or availability controls are prohibited.

4. Prohibited technical activity

You may not use ChunkArc to run, install, conceal or facilitate:

• cryptocurrency mining, proof-of-work or unrelated compute jobs;
• VPNs, proxies, tunnels, relays, exit nodes, Tor, VMess, WireGuard relays or Cloudflare Tunnels;
• botnets, DDoS tools, stressers, scanners, brute-force tools, exploit kits or credential checking;
• malware, droppers, downloaders, reverse shells, spyware, persistence or remote-access agents;
• phishing, spam, impersonation, credential collection or deceptive redirects;
• general web hosting, file hosting, seedboxes, databases, workers or other non-Minecraft workloads;
• container escape, host inspection, credential theft or interference with ChunkArc infrastructure.

5. Content and community conduct

You may not store or distribute content that:

• is illegal, fraudulent or infringes copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
• includes pirated commercial software, stolen accounts or proprietary files you cannot redistribute;
• facilitates child sexual exploitation, terrorism, credible threats or serious unlawful harm;
• promotes unlawful real-money gambling or violates the Minecraft Usage Guidelines;
• is mainly intended to dox, threaten, harass or impersonate another person or service.

Server owners are responsible for their community, monetization and compliance with the Minecraft EULA and Usage Guidelines.

6. Accounts, referrals and credits

Multiple identities may not be used to bypass the one-Free-server rule, moderation, limits or a suspension. Referral rewards are for genuine users who meet the published qualification rules; self-referrals, purchased joins, inactive alternate accounts or scripted activity may be rejected.

Arc Credits have no cash value, are not transferable property and can be used only for currently offered store items. Credits issued through error or abuse may be corrected. Temporary boosts follow the duration shown before purchase.

7. Custom addresses and ports

A name.chunkarc.net address is assigned for use with an eligible ChunkArc server. It is not sold and does not create domain ownership. ChunkArc may reject, reserve, rename or reclaim a label that is offensive, deceptive, infringing, infrastructure-related, inactive or involved in abuse.

8. Files, plugins and mods

Use official project pages or reputable repositories. Check the exact Minecraft version, loader and dependencies before upload. Do not disguise an executable, archive or script as a normal Minecraft JAR, or modify legitimate software to add hidden downloads, tunnels, miners or remote control.

9. Security checks

ChunkArc may use automated and manual checks involving:

• file names, types, sizes, ownership, hashes and archive contents;
• verified malicious indicators and verified safe upstream artifacts;
• process behavior and relevant network metadata;
• installation health, resource use and relevant technical logs;
• account, referral, provisioning and security audit events.

These controls protect infrastructure; they are not designed to routinely read private gameplay or moderate normal in-game chat. High-confidence malicious evidence may trigger immediate quarantine. Weak or ambiguous indicators should go to staff review without automatically interrupting the server.

10. Enforcement

Depending on severity, ChunkArc may use:

1. guidance or a warning for a low-risk correctable issue;
2. a review hold for an ambiguous finding;
3. blocking or removal of an unsafe file or action;
4. immediate stop and quarantine to prevent ongoing harm;
5. temporary suspension;
6. permanent termination for severe, deliberate or repeated abuse;
7. provider or authority notification where legally required or necessary for serious abuse.

Urgent containment may happen without advance notice. ChunkArc will normally give the affected user a clear reason afterwards unless disclosure is prohibited or would create a material security risk. Permanent bans are reviewed by staff.

11. Review and appeal

Open a private ticket in the ChunkArc Discord or email [email protected]. Include your Discord username, server name or address, the restriction message, what you installed and the official source link when relevant.

Do not send passwords, API keys, private tokens or recovery codes. Staff may verify a legitimate release, reverse a false positive, require removal of a prohibited component or uphold the restriction.

12. Abuse reports and changes

Reports should identify the exact server or account, explain the concern and include relevant evidence. Reports must be made in good faith. ChunkArc may update this policy as the beta, security controls or legal obligations change and may announce material changes through the website, panel, Discord or email.
