Let’s talkIs it really free?
Yes. The Free Beta does not require a credit card. You get one free server per person, with the limits shown in the plan above. This is a public beta, not an unlimited hosting plan.
What happens when nobody is playing?
Empty Minecraft Free Beta servers stop after 15 minutes without players. The connection flow wakes the server when you return. Your world is not deleted just because the server is sleeping.
Can I use plugins or mods?
Minecraft supports Paper, Purpur, Folia and Fabric. Compatibility depends on your chosen software and version; resource limits still apply. Terraria currently supports official Vanilla only.
How do backups work?
Minecraft Free Beta includes one customer-managed backup in /manage. Create and restore it yourself, and keep an offline copy of anything important. Do not assume automatic backups are running.
Can I buy a bigger plan?
Not yet. Paid plans are proposals used to measure genuine interest. There is no checkout, charge or reservation. The live website explains the current research.
